Minnesota Biomedical Undergraduate Research Program

The Minnesota Biomedical Undergraduate Research Program (MBURP) seeks to empower and inspire the next-generation of scientists. Our research scholarship program is dedicated to supporting first-generation students in achieving their academic goals. We aim to provide students the opportunity to cultivate their intellectual curiosity and the critical thinking skills essential for tackling complex scientific issues. Our goal is to connect students with research mentors and equip them with the resources required to successfully attain an undergraduate research fellowship.
